'Thriller' Flash Mob on Anniversary of Michael Jackson's Death

June 25 is Michael Jackson Day at the San Diego County Fair. For the second year in a row, an all-volunteer cast performs a special tribute.

Hard to believe it's been two years since the King of Pop died. Michael Jackson fans haven't forgot him. At the Saturday June 25, the "Thriller" flash mob is back by popular demand.

Last year hundreds of participants volunteered to learn the dance and dress in "zombie" attire. This year's flash mob features local performers who have been training for months under the supervision of Christopher Estrella, of CStarproductionz.  The performances will also feature a special twist on “The Phantom Of the Opera."

The first performance happened at 2 p.m. on the Avenue of the Palms, but there's one more to come, at 8 p.m. in the Paddock.
