Islanders Open Water Polo Playoffs Saturday
Coronado High's boys team, seeded third, will meet Santa Fe Christian in La Jolla.
The quest for another San Diego Section CIF championship for the Coronado High boys water polo team begins Saturday morning when the third-seeded Islanders face Santa Fe Christian in the Division III quarterfinals at 11 a.m. in La Jolla.
Coronado wound up a challenging regular-season schedule with a 13-12 record and had a bye in the first round. The Bishop's School earned the No. 1 seed, with Cathedral Catholic No. 2, followed by Coronado and La Jolla.
