Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Coronado Community Center

Families from all over San Diego celebrate the "egg-cellent" holiday—Coronado-style.

The hosted its annual Easter festivities on Saturday, April 23. An estimated crowd of 1,000 “hopped” on over and participated in the fun.

The main event was the Easter egg hunt, which took place outside on the lawn, with Glorietta Bay and the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge in the background. Parents looked on as their kids, armed with baskets and running shoes, fanned out and sprinted across the area in search of hidden treasures.

Other events included carnival-style games, a life-sized Candyland and a kids' cafe.
