Concert at Organ Pavilion; Art in the Park

This Sunday, visit Balboa Park for a concert at an iconic pavilion, travel to Point Loma for some fair food and fun, or stay close to home for some art in the park.

1. Art in the Park: Enjoy another Sunday at for art viewing. Artists from all over San Diego County will be showing off their photography, oil paintings, stained glass and more. This is held all day from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Enjoy the view!

2. Organ concert: Treat your ears to the musical talents of civic organist Carol Williams at Balboa Park today. Join 2,000 others at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion at 2 p.m. for an hour-long concert at one of the largest outdoor pipe organs.

3. Check out some goods: Get out of Coronado today and head over to Point Loma for some food and fun. The Point Loma Farmers Market and Artisan Fair takes place every Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Visit Canon Street (between Rosecrans Boulevard and Shaftner Street) for baked goods, gourmet prepared foods, flowers and more. Indulge a little.

4. End of 3-day race: Today is the last day for participants in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Race for the Cure. The 60-mile race started on Friday, Nov. 19, and will end today at Petco Park. Thanks to all who raised money and walked in this breast cancer research fundraiser.

5. Family volunteers: Yesterday was Family Volunteer Day, but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate today, tomorrow or even next week. Get the whole family to volunteer for our local businesses, like the , the and . Support your community and become closer with your family.
