What is a Great Escape? For me, it's a small window of time. It can be during the sacred hour when both my children are napping, or sometimes it's a few precious hours spent away from the home when I manage to find a babysitter.

For others, a Great Escape might be when the kids are at a drop-off play date, or maybe when your in-laws take the children for a night. It might not be the greatest adventure of your life, but it's your time. Take it.

This weekend, , one of my favorite stores on the island, is hosting an in-store event featuring complimentary make-up and hairstyling by Coronado Bliss Salon. Not only will there be an abundance of Aveda products, but there will be chocolate and champagne flowing. Talk about indulgence!

So here's the plan: Schedule a night out on Saturday. Maybe it will be a Valentine's Day date with your husband, or a single girls get together. Head to the Blue Jeans and Bikinis event Saturday afternoon. Get your hair and make-up done (for free!). Sip on a little bubbly, nibble on some chocolate, and shop the racks. Pick out something special to wear that night. Maybe it will be a small accessory, a new spring top, or a hot pair of jeans.

One of my favorite things about Blue Jeans and Bikinis is the variety of price points they offer. There really is something for everyone. Last time I went there I bought a cute, but affordable top at 30 percent off. And 30 percent off of $30 means it's practically free, right? At least that's how I explained it to my husband. But I digress....

We all deserve to be pampered this Valentine's Day and the Beauty, Bliss, and Bubbly event at Blue Jeans and Bikinis is the perfect excuse to spoil yourself.
